We have a deep understanding of the investment property sector and its wealth of opportunities, as well as the pain points felt by those within it. Our desire to cut through the noise and provide more relevance is founded on our personal experience, because we’ve been there ourselves.

Neil Smoli

Founder

Neil is a deep thinker with a big heart. His vision to improve the investment property sector comes from his vast experience in the industry. Neil identified a gap in the market while leading Aviate Group, one of Australia's leading investment property firms. The inception of Invex is the perfect intersection of Neil's passions - property and technology.

Jennifer Barker

Head of Integration

Jennifer is a true integrator. Her passion lies in seeing each of the components of Invex work together and deliver excellence. Her ability to successfully engage various teams comes from her breadth of experience in private equity, property investment, and operations management. Jennifer is passionate about developing organisational culture and holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering.

Shawn Murphy

Senior Software Engineer

Shawn is our tech guru. Having consulted for start-ups in San Francisco and worked for Yahoo!7, he knows what it takes to get a team and platform running. Shawn leads the engineering team from a strong foundation, with his proven ability to deliver and maintain Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Information Technology.

Josh Nguyen

Product Manager

Josh is a strong advocate for the end users - they fuel his passion to build innovative and exciting products. He’s in his element when juggling demands between the business, engineering and design teams. Prior to Invex, Josh worked at Macquarie Bank where he had based himself in Sydney, Tokyo, HK and London. During his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, and spending time with his young family.
